This is a tiny, sleepy village in Tuticorin district
of Tamil Nadu. Its greatness is its people, who are soft, hard working,
innocent with great vision of their times. They are peace loving .
Different groups live in peace and harmony.
Kovil Kodai function was performed as grand gala
festive occasion for 3 days of every year July first week.The entire
village participated wholeheartedly, with all people contributing to the
rare admirable event in one or other way. People from far off places
promptly reached and got the blessings of Mutharamman. Our Goddess is
quite true, attentive and indeed turn your life bright if you are a
believer. Leave it to Her. She will take care.
You can also see one reddish desert in our village named as Therikadu, which is quit big and amazing location for new visitors.
